This is the #1 Divorce Recovery Book and is the textbook we use in our courses. Not every chapter is great but by far it is the single best book on the topic of divorce.
This inspiring guide to healing and growth illuminates the richness and potential of every life, even in the face of loss and adversity.
“Seven conversations for a lifetime of love”. This book is focused on how to have healthy, supportive relationships. It may seem that for many on this page the material no longer applies. However, for many they are trying to understand what happened and why. This book, above ALL others, will help you understand. It will give you peace about what happened and help you understand how to enter into the next relationship confident that you know better on what works, and what doesn’t.
Videos
There are a lot of YouTube videos out there on various topics. But no other channel has the depth of knowledge, understanding, and wide variety of topics. We are a little biased. 🙂
TedTalks have a HUGE list of topics related to divorce. These are by experts in various fields. The only downside is that the material isn’t cohesive. You can spend days watching these videos.

The audio version of this is good. It is a heavy book to read. Having someone else read it is great but you will probably need to listen to it a few times to really get it.
There are a lot of podcasts for divorcees. For women, you have a lot of options.
For men, not so much.
Nevertheless, look on your favorite device (smartphone, tablet, or computer).

Support Groups
We offer a huge library, weekly sessions, and a long history of supporting people going through divorce.
DivorceCare is a Christian based support group that can be found in many churches. Most are not free but they are usually very inexpensive. The upside of the DivorceCare is that you can meet people in your area going through the same situation as you. The downside is that the program makes you feel bad for getting divorced. It also encourages you to turn to Jesus for your support. We embrace all religious choices but we find that people don’t recover without doing the work themselves, ON themselves.
